I have worked at Berryville Public School for 4 years. My first year I was a paraprofessional for the special education department. I taught 4th grade special education for the last 3 years. I will be teaching High school special education this year. I am excited for the change and the new challenges the year will bring.
Before teaching 4th grade resource, I was a Special Educaiton Paraprofessional. I enjoyed working in special educaiton so much that I decided to go back to school and get my master's in Special Education.
I am the only girl in my family. I have four brothers who are all married. I have seven nieces and one nephew. I am really close to my family and love spending time with them.
When I am not teaching, you might find me reading a book or working on a craft. I love to sew, knit, paint, and color. I enjoy baking for my brothers and their families. All they have to do is ask and I usually make whatever they want whether it is homemade rolls, bread, or a pie. Spending time with my family is really important. Some of my brothers live further away. When I get the chance I go and visit them and spend time with my nieces and nephew.
