We are thankful for #BobcatNation school nurses and their efforts to meet the needs of today’s students by providing and advocating for quality student-centered care and who contribute to our local communities by supporting students to stay healthy, in school, safe, and ready to learn, and keeping parents and guardians at work.

Last night, BHS hosted the Senior Scholarship & Awards Night. The Class of 2024 has been awarded 1,879,144.00 and counting! Congratulations to the Class of 2024.

Teacher Appreciation - Day 2 Thank you, Taqueria Navidad, for providing chips, salsa, and cheese dip to BHS. Delicious as always!!

Thank you so much to Emma Gilstrap for creating a Charcuterie Board/table for the first day of Teacher Appreciation Week. It was amazing.

Just one blistering sunburn in childhood or adolescence may double the chances of developing melanoma later in life. At the State Board of Education's February meeting, Miss Arkansas Teen, Mallory Stuckey, a student at Rison High School, shared her concerns about the sun's effects on unprotected skin and requested that the board declare May 6-May 10 as Sun Safety Week. Miss Stuckey again appeared before the State Board of Education at its meeting on April 11, 2024, where the board signed the declaration. As we get closer to Summer Break - We want to share these good reminders with our Bobcat Families!

BHS Seniors & Parents - Monday, May 6th is the Senior Awards Ceremony at 6pm in the Performing Arts Center. We look forward to seeing you there.

It’s another great day to be a Bobcat! Berryville High School has earned a high National ranking in 2024 Best High Schools, U.S. News released recently! Administration was notified that the school was ranked in the top 40% of nearly all public high schools nationwide---18,000 of them---based on multiple sources of objective data. U.S. News provides rankings based on indicators such as enrollment, student body demographics, location, school type and results of state assessments, as well as Advanced Placement (AP). AP data come directly from the College Board while other data is pulled from the state system. Well done, BHS! #bobcatnation

BHS Senior Spotlight

Brandon Lyle from Killingsworth Firm CPA came to speak to Mrs. McCullough’s Quantitative Literacy classes about taxes. We appreciate him sharing the importance of taxes with our students to better prepare them for the future.

BHS Completer Cord Ceremony will be held next Wednesday, May 1st at 2:30 p.m. in the BHS Performing Arts Center. Parents & Guardians are welcome to attend. Please ask your Senior if they will be included in the cord ceremony. Cords are earned based on years of completion in specific courses.

Bus drivers work the early and the late shift to ensure that our students arrive to their destinations safely! At #BobcatNation, we are sure thankful for our drivers who take care of our students. We hope all of your bus driving days are fantastic!

On Thursday, C4 year 2 students were recognized at NorthArk during the NorthArk Signing/Awards Day. Year 2 seniors received their cords and medals to wear at both the NorthArk graduation and high school graduation.
